How email receiver records work

INTENDED SEARCHES: email receiver, email recipient, who received email, email destination

Email receiver records help track who was included as a recipient on system-generated or saved email communication.

Use this when checking whether the right contact, employee, vendor, or customer received a message.

Information you may see:

- Recipient name or email.

- Related message.

- Related customer or record.

- Recipient type.

- Status, if available.

If a recipient is wrong, update the source contact record before resending future messages.

Before saving or relying on this record, check:

- Correct email address.

- Correct recipient type.

- Correct related record.

- Duplicate contacts.

Why this matters:

Correct recipient records reduce missed estimates, invoices, job updates, and support messages.

Support note:

If the customer cannot find the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the record name, page they were on, what they clicked, and a screenshot if possible.
