INTENDED SEARCHES: email log, sent email, email history, communication log, recipient log
Email logs and sent communication records show messages that were sent or attempted from the system.
Use them to confirm whether a customer, vendor, employee, or other recipient was sent a message.
Information you may see:
- Recipient.
- Email subject.
- Related customer or record.
- Sent date and time.
- Delivery or send status, if available.
- Message type.
- Error details, if sending failed.
Basic process:
1. Open the customer, record, or communication log area.
2. Find the related email or send record.
3. Confirm recipient and date.
4. Review status or error information if available.
5. Contact support if the message failed or the customer says they did not receive it.
Before saving or relying on this record, check:
- Correct recipient.
- Correct record.
- Sent date/time.
- Status.
- Spam/junk possibility.
Why this matters:
Communication logs help support and office staff avoid guessing whether a message was sent.
Support note:
If the customer cannot find the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the record name, page they were on, what they clicked, and a screenshot if possible.
