How projects work

INTENDED SEARCHES: project, project document, project gallery, project status

Use projects to organize larger work that may include related documents, images, tasks, jobs, estimates, expenses, or customer information.

Common project items:

- Project name.

- Related customer.

- Project status.

- Project documents.

- Project gallery.

- Tasks or assigned users when available.

- Related job, estimate, or expense records when available.

Steps:

1. Open Projects.

2. Create or select a project.

3. Add the main project information.

4. Attach documents or images if needed.

5. Add tasks or related work records when available.

6. Keep the project updated as work progresses.

Why this matters:

Projects keep larger jobs organized. Without a project record, documents, tasks, costs, and updates can become scattered.

Support note:

If the customer cannot see the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the module, record name or number, what they clicked, what happened, and a screenshot if possible.
