INTENDED SEARCHES: cart, wishlist, checkout, order, online order, customer order
Use cart, wishlist, checkout, and customer orders when the business allows customers to request or purchase services, products, or packages online.
Common information:
- Cart items.
- Wishlist items.
- Customer order.
- Order items.
- Checkout details.
- Customer contact and billing details.
Steps:
1. Customer adds an available item to cart or wishlist.
2. Customer reviews the cart.
3. Customer completes checkout or submits the order request.
4. Office reviews the order.
5. Office confirms whether the order should become an estimate, job, invoice, or follow-up.
Why this matters:
Online orders should not be treated casually. The office still needs to verify service area, price, taxes, availability, and scheduling before committing work when required.
Support note:
If the customer cannot see the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the module, record name or number, what they clicked, what happened, and a screenshot if possible.
