INTENDED SEARCHES: edit estimate, copy estimate, delete estimate, restore estimate

Estimate actions may depend on permissions and record status.

Edit estimate:

Use edit when the estimate needs corrections before it is finalized, scheduled, billed, or restricted by status.

Copy estimate:

Use copy when creating a similar estimate without rebuilding every line item.

Delete estimate:

Use delete only when the estimate should no longer be active. If the estimate is connected to jobs, billing, invoices, or customer approval, check before deleting.

Restore estimate:

Use restore when a deleted estimate needs to be returned, if restore is available.

Before changing an estimate, check:

- Has the estimate been sent?

- Has the customer approved it?

- Has work been scheduled?

- Has billing or invoicing started?

- Are there connected jobs, invoices, payments, or purchase orders?

Why this matters:

Changing an estimate after downstream work begins can affect scheduling, invoices, and customer expectations.

Support note:

If you cannot find the option, cannot save the record, see different fields, or receive an error, contact support with the page, record name or number, what you clicked, what happened, and a screenshot if possible.
