How import history details work

Modified on Wed, 17 Jun at 9:10 AM

INTENDED SEARCHES: import detail, import row error, import failed row

Import history details show row-level information about an import.

Use this when some records imported correctly but others failed or imported with missing data.

Information you may see:

- Row number.

- Field values.

- Error message.

- Status.

- Created or updated record reference, if available.

Best practice:

Fix the spreadsheet/source file first, then re-import only what needs correction if the system supports it.

Before saving or relying on this record, check:

- Row error.

- Duplicate risk.

- Required fields.

- Correct mapping.

- Re-import plan.

Why this matters:

Row-level import details help support and admins fix data problems without guessing.

Support note:

If the customer cannot find the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the record name, page they were on, what they clicked, and a screenshot if possible.
