INTENDED SEARCHES: import history, import log, imported records, import errors
Import history shows records of data imported into the system.
Use it to review what was imported, when it was imported, whether it succeeded, and whether any rows had errors.
Information you may see:
- Import file name.
- Import date.
- User who imported.
- Record type.
- Successful rows.
- Failed rows.
- Error details.
Basic process:
1. Open the import history area.
2. Find the import batch.
3. Review success and error counts.
4. Open details if available.
5. Fix bad source data before re-importing.
Before saving or relying on this record, check:
- Correct import file.
- Correct module.
- Failed rows reviewed.
- Duplicates avoided.
- Bad data fixed.
Why this matters:
Import history helps prevent silent data mistakes from spreading into customers, estimates, jobs, invoices, or reports.
Support note:
If the customer cannot find the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the record name, page they were on, what they clicked, and a screenshot if possible.
