INTENDED SEARCHES: bookmarks, save link, saved page, quick link
Bookmarks are used to save important internal links or quick-access pages.
Use bookmarks when an admin or user needs fast access to a page, document, report, outside website, or repeated workflow.
Fields/options you may see:
- Bookmark name.
- URL or link.
- Username or login note, if the company chooses to store it.
- Password note, if allowed by company policy.
- Notes.
- Visibility.
- Allowed roles.
- Active, inactive, deleted, or restored status.
Steps:
1. Open the Bookmarks area.
2. Select create or add bookmark.
3. Enter a clear bookmark name.
4. Add the URL or link.
5. Add notes only if they help the user understand the bookmark.
6. Set visibility or allowed roles if available.
7. Save the bookmark.
Why this matters:
Bookmarks reduce wasted time finding repeated pages or outside resources. Do not use bookmarks as the official place for customer, job, invoice, or payment information.
Support note:
If the user cannot find the option, sees different fields, cannot save, or receives an error, contact support with the record name, page, action attempted, error message, and screenshot if possible.
