How recurring jobs and service due work

INTENDED SEARCHES: recurring job, recurring service, service due queue, scheduling queue, invoice recurring job

Recurring jobs are used when the same type of service repeats on a schedule.

Important rule:

Future recurring jobs should not be treated as fully invoiced before the work is completed or ready for billing. Billing should follow the configured billing process, invoice date, or completion workflow.

Typical flow:

1. Set up the customer and service.

2. Choose recurrence type or frequency.

3. Schedule the first occurrence or recurring schedule.

4. Complete each occurrence when work is done.

5. Let billing or invoice drafts follow the billing settings.

Service due or scheduling queue concept:

A service due queue shows work that is due or ready to schedule but not yet scheduled. The office can schedule, assign, hold, skip, or move work forward depending on the workflow.

Why this matters:

Recurring work must be controlled carefully so future jobs do not incorrectly show as invoiced or completed.

Support note:

If you cannot find the option, cannot save the record, see different fields, or receive an error, contact support with the page, record name or number, what you clicked, what happened, and a screenshot if possible.
