How tenant or account billing records work

INTENDED SEARCHES: tenant billing, account billing, subscription, plan, billing record

Tenant or account billing records relate to the company account, subscription, plan, or platform billing.

This is different from customer invoices created by the service business.

Important distinction:

- Customer invoices are bills the business sends to its customers.

- Account billing is what the TabulateCRM account may owe for using the platform.

Information you may see:

- Subscription or plan.

- Billing status.

- Payment record.

- Renewal or trial information.

- Company account details.

Only account admins should change billing-related settings.

Before saving or relying on this record, check:

- Customer invoice vs account billing.

- Admin permissions.

- Plan/status.

- Payment status.

Why this matters:

Separating account billing from customer invoicing prevents serious confusion.

Support note:

If the customer cannot find the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the record name, page they were on, what they clicked, and a screenshot if possible.
