How contractor or multi-account access works

INTENDED SEARCHES: contractor, multi account, property manager, multiple customers, connected customers

Contractor or multi-account access is used when one person or company needs access to more than one connected customer, property, or account relationship.

Common use cases:

- Property manager managing multiple properties.

- Contractor connected to multiple customer accounts.

- One login needing access to multiple customer records.

Important rules:

- Access must be intentionally assigned.

- Permissions control what the contractor can view or do.

- Not every customer should automatically be visible to every contractor.

- Support should verify access questions carefully.

Why this matters:

Multi-account access is powerful. If it is set up wrong, one person may see information they should not see.

Support note:

If the customer cannot see the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the module, record name or number, what they clicked, what happened, and a screenshot if possible.
