How entity keywords work

INTENDED SEARCHES: entity keyword, keyword, record keyword, customer keyword

Entity keywords are keywords connected to records such as customers, services, products, jobs, or other entities depending on setup.

Use keywords to improve searching, filtering, grouping, and reporting.

Best practice:

1. Use consistent spelling.

2. Avoid duplicate keyword meanings.

3. Do not use keywords as private notes.

4. Use official categories or tags when those are more appropriate.

5. Review keyword usage before creating too many variations.

Before saving or relying on this record, check:

- Consistent keyword.

- Correct record.

- No duplicates.

- Search/reporting purpose.

Why this matters:

Clean keywords make search and reports stronger. Messy keywords become useless fast.

Support note:

If the customer cannot find the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the record name, page they were on, what they clicked, and a screenshot if possible.
