How inquiries and quote requests work

Modified on Tue, 16 Jun at 7:26 PM

INTENDED SEARCHES: inquiry, quote request, website lead, contact form, customer message

Use inquiries and quote requests to track new customer requests before they become full customer records, estimates, or jobs.

Information that may appear:

- Customer name.

- Phone number.

- Email.

- Address or service area.

- Message.

- Requested service.

- Source.

- Follow-up status.

Steps:

1. Open the Inquiries or Quote Requests area.

2. Review the customer contact details.

3. Review the requested service or message.

4. Decide whether the request should become a lead, customer, estimate, or follow-up task.

5. Add notes so the next person understands the request.

Why this matters:

Inquiries are often the first customer touchpoint. Clean notes prevent missed follow-ups and bad estimates.

Support note:

If the customer cannot see the option, cannot save the record, sees different fields, or receives an error, they should contact support with the module, record name or number, what they clicked, what happened, and a screenshot if possible.
